NYOS Junior Orchestra Summer Concert, Perth Concert Hall
The Junior Orchestra is for Scotland’s most talented orchestral musicians aged 8 and over. The first step on the ladder for ambitious future members of the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, NYOS Junior Orchestra has become synonymous with exciting programming, challenging repertoire, prestigious performances and the opportunity to work with inspiring conductors and soloists.
The Orchestra will once again be conducted by the brilliant and engaging Roland Kieft, Artistic Director of the Residentie Orkest in The Hague and someone for whom the training and nurturing of young musical talent has been a lifelong passion.
NYOS Junior Orchestra will also reprise its performance of ‘Ludi’ – Partita for Orchestra; a NYOS commission celebrating the Commonwealth Games by recent alumnus Peter Longworth.
