NYOS Junior Orchestra Summer Concert 2019
NYOS Junior Orchestra is the first stepping stone on the classical ensemble’s pathway for ambitious young musicians.
After four tremendous years of development under maestro Holly Mathieson, we are thrilled to welcome conductor Natalia Luis-Bassa to the podium this summer. A true advocate for early years music education, we are delighted to have Natalia join our young instrumentalists on their week-long, summer residential course to continue this great work.
Natalia and the Orchestra will also be joined by former Symphony Orchestra Principal Trumpet Mark James to perform Alexander Arutiunian's Trumpet Concerto.
